Join us for a relaxing experience of hand-building pottery at Positive Pottery in Rangiora, where artistic expression knows no bounds. This three-hour session is tailored to all abilities, whether you're a seasoned artist or new to pottery. Our instructor will guide you through the entire process, from cutting, joining, shaping and sculpting to decorating and discuss glazing. No prior pottery experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm, and we'll supply the rest.
After crafting your clay, you can apply underglaze colors and decoration. Your creation will then be stored onsite to dry and be fired twice for a bisque fire then with glaze. We will advise when your masterpiece is ready to be collected (usually within 7-14 days - depending on drying time and thickness of your work).
