Our Origin Story

If you have been a local in Rangiora you may remember the original Pottery Studio that existed here in the 70s and stopped trading near on 10 years ago. Since 2023 Fern River Gallery was born from an idea to engage our community and establish a creative hub for the youth and creative adults in Rangiora. Our instructors have an artistic background with a foundation in graphic design along side the passion for pottery, we envisioned a place where artistic spirits could unite, learn, and create together.

Our Mission

At Positive Pottery Studio, our mission is clear: “To kindle and nurture the creativity in our local community.” We firmly believe that creativity knows no age, which is why we cater to both adults and children. We offer term classes and workshops, our goal is to inspire and empower individuals of all ages to explore their artistic talents, uncover new skills, and forge connections with like-minded individuals.
